My Projects

"Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”

Armand Grobler

I am currently collaborating with renowned wildlife photographer Armand Grobler on his highly anticipated second book publication. His first book, Photo Safari Kruger, was met with great success, and it is a privilege to contribute to this new creative journey.

For this project, my role is focused on capturing exclusive behind-the-scenes content and producing the official trailer that will accompany the book launch. This has offered me the opportunity to document not only the remarkable wildlife encounters but also the creative process that goes into bringing such a publication to life. Working alongside Armand has been both inspiring and rewarding — he continues to be a valued mentor and one of my closest friends.

The year 2024 promises to be an exciting one, filled with ambitious projects and unforgettable adventures. We began the year with a January expedition to the vast Kalahari, where we gathered invaluable material for the book. Looking ahead, two trips to Botswana are planned for later this year. Botswana’s wild beauty and pristine landscapes have captured both mine and Armand’s hearts, making it the perfect backdrop for our continued storytelling and creative exploration.

Carapace Cam

I am excited about a protective remote controlled car project that is a work in progress.

Carapace: " carapace (a shield extending from the head region and enveloping a smaller or larger part of the body) is a characteristic feature of many crustaceans. This is most often seen or Tortoise`s

What is Carapace Cam?

Carapace Cam is a remote controlled car that allows for both very low angle photos as well as the opportunity to get very close to animals that might not be otherwise possible such as Lion, Wild Dogs, Hippos and Elephants

This is a project that im very excited about, it is a big learning curve and I hope to start testing it out in the very near future. Stay tuned to my Blog for updates on this project.

Armand Grobler Book Release Trailer

I had the privilege of contributing to the official book release trailer for wildlife photographer Armand Grobler. My role focused on capturing  sweeping aerial perspectives provided by drone work. The majority of the footage was captured in Botswana, one of Africa’s most breathtaking wildlife destinations.

The project was a creative collaboration that blended different visual approaches to showcase the beauty, atmosphere, and storytelling behind Armand’s new book. While the drone footage highlighted dramatic landscapes and scale, my videography provided intimate, grounded perspectives of the environment and wildlife.

Working together, we were able to produce a dynamic and visually engaging trailer that reflects the passion and artistry behind Armand’s work — and celebrates the wild spaces that inspire us both.

It  immerses viewers in the rhythms and raw beauty of the wild. For me, it was a chance to combine storytelling with conservation, and to share the magic of Botswana’s wilderness with a wider audience.
